You cannot make this shit up. This is so fucking out of line it is even surreal. So here we have it a privilege white boy dressing up supposedly as a black woman with 19 children living in welfare. I find that insulting and so far from the fucking true. I wish for him to experience the reality of welfare or poverty or even been black, which I do not know anything about. And for queers to get a laugh out at this is really compelling on the state of affairs. The dude is popular around white extremist. One of them even commented “he is too articulate to be black.” Mind you he is getting booked around the tea party circuit. They rather have a fag in black face than to have a black woman onboard. White pride loves him. And I'm still concerned about this fucking division within the queer community. Listen if your brain is the size of a peanut you have dick to match. Fuck if by now you have not gotten the message that being queer is not OK with everyone Why join then with a blackface? And to see the boy from the queer eye laughing with her is appalling. Let him live in Arizona. In welfare.
I'm reminded of this experience I had when I went to a Bear event a few years back. The bus was filled with white queens with ka-ching and other shiny things. On a bus ride to one of the events, several of them sat in the back of the bus and started telling jokes about Black people.
ReplyDeleteThe handful of Latinos on the bus looked back at them and we gave them a piece of our mind. To which one replied something along the lines that they are just joking and we are taking it too serious.
What these queens didn't get was that they would scream bloody murder if there had been a group of str8 people on the bus making jokes about gays.
Moroever, the hypocrisy of their actions. At these event it was suppose to be focused on building community, and invited men of all shapes, colors and sizes to celebrate who they are. Meanwhile, they are making jokes that dehumanized Black people.
BTW, I wonder if they saved their Latino jokes for when we weren't around. Also, there were no Black men on the bus.

ReplyDeleteThe only reason I know about the anti-black commentary of some co-workers is because they assumed that the GH being white, would be either down with it or silent about it. The GH said that he was amazed at how comfortable they were talking like that when they knew we were best friends. He also said that he knew that they talked about him being "white trash" behind his back because he was from a rural area where cows, guns, chewing tobacco and pick-up trucks were popular. He knew it didn't matter to them that he was the smartest one in the room, it just mattered that he wasn't the right kind of white.
