It is a political strategy for Repugs to put women against blacks. And to put non-religious against religious ones. Americans versus migrants. Or better yet Christians against Muslim. You see the pattern here division of the masses. But how come they do not highlight the rich versus the poor. They have shit of an argument there.

Someone told me that people like teabaggers and Repugs always need an enemy to feel superior to. She said that after the Soviet Union fell there was no one entity for them to focus all of their fear and hate on so every week they have a new boogieman that they want people to get paranoid about. It makes me think of that scene in The Wiz where The Wizard would announce over the PA what the color of the day was and the clothes would turn that shade as people walked in a circle, going nowhere. I'm silly so I think up silly things, lol...but they usually fit.

Trouble is, one day they'll run out of "thems' and be forced to turn on themselves.
That is so very true. They are such hypocrites. They cry that progressives are taking away freedoms and the rights of the people, but they are really only really concerned that their "rights" are being extended to people that they don't like. It's all about hate. Repubs need someone to hate, to feel superior is absolutely correct.
