For Katrina White vigilantes, shooting blacks; "was great! It was like pheasant season in South Dakota."
Maybe is just me but I am getting so tire of witnessing this kinds of events, and seeing this kinds of reactions as if it is normal. Listening to this documentary made me wonder how long can we continue to witness this without being affected by it. I am speechless, to say at least. for full report read Firedoglake.

The stories that have and continue to come out of New Orleans during the days of Katrina have been horrendous. New Orleans literally became hell on earth. The level of fear, apathy and hopelessness showed just how bad it can get among human beings.
ReplyDeleteI also know that there has been a long standing tradition of severe racial tensions between the whites and blacks communities of New Orleans. Katrina turned on the heat on a already shitty situation.
I said it before and I'll say it again. When things get lean and tough, people go into survival mode and they will do whatever it takes to insure their survival. Often shocking events lead to people losing a connection to their humanity.
